Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a full-time Office Clerk / Bookkeeper. This position will need a candidate that is familiar with accounts payable and receivable, have experience with purchasing and a working knowledge of accounting software. We are seeking ambitious individuals with strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to join a focused and motivated team in the parking lot maintenance industry. You should have experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment, have excellent time management and organizational skills and have above average abilities in utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks, etc.). You should also be able to receive direction from multiple sources, work well independently and prioritize workload. Responsibilities:
  • Examine, evaluate, and process customer invoices and vendor bills for services rendered.
  • Assess billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, tracking down missing or correct data when necessary.
  • Institute billing procedures and controls where needed.
  • General office duties and other duties as assigned, stocking inventory.
  • Maintain close communication with customers, sales personnel, coworkers, and operations.
  • Audit accounts where there is an invoicing or inventory.
  • Assist in scheduling bulk load.
  • Organizing and preparing paperwork for invoicing customers via spreadsheets accurately and in a timely matter, (QuickBooks)
  • Researching, reporting on, and resolving billing discrepancies in accordance with company goals and objectives
  • Communicating with customers as needed to facilitate proper resolution of invoicing and any discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory for shop storefront.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of billing, purchasing, and invoicing
  • Customer service experience highly desired
  • Foundational knowledge in numeric data entry
  • Adeptness in Microsoft word, excel & QuickBooks
  • Billing experience desired
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Good math skills
  • Strong expertise in spreadsheets and, internet applications
  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
  • Able to work dally overtime
  • Able to work every other weekend.
  • Able to be working at 6:50am during busy season.
